The 4 Mile Estate
Why The 4 Mile Estate is built for a micro wedding

The Ceremony, Steps From the Door
The pond below the deck, the creek running past it, pines on every side. Walk down from the house in the dress, say it in front of the people staying with you, and walk back up to dinner. No venue load-in, no five-hour window, no second location.

Getting Ready, Without Leaving
The master bridal suite is a real getting-ready room — space for the dress, the glam team, and the people who belong in the photos — with three bathrooms for everyone else and a deck for robes and champagne at 10. Stylists and photographers pull right up to the house.

Dinner for Everyone at One Table
The dining table seats 14 — your whole guest list, one table, no seating chart. Tell us the night and we line up a private chef, or cook together in a kitchen with plate settings for all of you. You cover the chef and the food; we handle the finding and the timing.

Private Wedding Spa
Hot tub on the deck, cedar sauna, cold plunge in the pond. The night before to settle the nerves, the morning after to recover — robes on, the whole party, no appointment.

Nightcaps Under the Milky Way
Nobody drives anywhere. Blankets on the deck, a sky full of stars over the canyon, one last quiet toast with the people who flew in for this — and in the morning, they're all still here for coffee.

A Real Bed for Everyone
Six real beds, one per bedroom: 1 king and 5 queens. Parents, grandparents, the friends who are family — all under one roof, all rested. Sleeps 12 without anyone drawing the couch; 14 with two inflatables — which is exactly the size of a micro wedding.
“We hosted our wedding ceremony here with both families, and it could not have been more perfect. The house handled our large group with ease and never once felt cramped. The beds were incredibly comfortable plus tons of extra pillows and blankets for everyone. … The location felt wonderfully secluded, with a gorgeous water view where we spotted brook trout swimming every day.”

Where the city meets quiet mornings
Tucked into the pines of Fourmile Canyon, The 4 Mile Estate sits 8 miles — about 25 minutes — above Pearl Street in downtown Boulder. A creek runs through the seven acres, a pond sits below the deck, and private trails start at the back door. Far enough up the canyon that the only traffic is the occasional deer; close enough that the chef, the photographer, and the family flying into Denver all find it easily.

We had a small wedding celebration here, and it turned into an absolutely unforgettable weekend. We’ll cherish the memories we made here for the rest of our lives, and we’re so thankful we found such an incredibly beautiful and serene property to celebrate such a special occasion with friends and family.
Phil and Paige were wonderful hosts and incredibly responsive throughout our stay. They made everything easy and were always quick to answer any questions we had. The property itself was the perfect setting for our celebration, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend such a meaningful weekend.
We’re truly grateful for the experience and would absolutely love to come back!

We hosted our wedding ceremony here with both families, and it could not have been more perfect. The house handled our large group with ease and never once felt cramped. The beds were incredibly comfortable plus tons of extra pillows and blankets for everyone.
The kitchen setup was a nice surprise too, with three different types of coffee makers to keep the whole family caffeinated and happy. The location felt wonderfully secluded, with a gorgeous water view where we spotted brook trout swimming everyday. The trails behind the property were a great bonus & we saw so many different types of birds on our walks.
And the garage full of games was hands-down a favorite for everyone! I used the rock wall in my wedding dress, lol! it kept both families entertained and brought people together all weekend.
This place made our wedding week feel relaxed, special, and full of good memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious spot to host a family gathering!

This was a great place for our family vacation. the drive from Boulder was worth the privacy and seclusion. The property is beautiful and the house is exceptionally well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms. We enjoyed trips each day to Rocky Mtn NP, Boulder and Denver. Activities for all ages are available. Falafel King on Pearl Street Mall is great. Paige responsed quickly to our requests. They are great hosts!

Questions
Everything you need to know before arrival
Yes, for a wedding the size of the people staying in the house. The pond below the deck is where most couples say it — the creek runs past it and the pines close in on three sides — and the deck above the river works for a first look or a smaller exchange. Your guest list is your overnight list: up to 14, which is the maximum for the house. That number is the whole idea of a micro wedding, and it is the number we can host. If your list is bigger than that, tell us and we'll say so honestly — The 4 Mile Estate is the right basecamp for a nearby venue in that case, not the venue itself.
Fourteen, all staying at the house — that is the cap on overnight guests, and the ceremony and dinner are for the people staying here. Twelve sleep in six real beds (1 king, 5 queens); two double-height queen inflatables take it to 14. The dining table seats 14 as well. Stylists, a photographer, an officiant, and a chef can come and go during the day.
Tell us the night and we line up a private chef for dinner at the 14-seat table — your whole guest list at one table, no seating chart. You cover the chef and the food; we handle the finding, booking, and timing. The kitchen has plate settings for all 14 if you'd rather cook together.
The master bridal suite is a dedicated getting-ready space: room for the dress, hair and makeup stations, and the people you want around you. Beyond it there are three bathrooms with real mirrors, the 14-seat table for everyone else, and the deck for robes and coffee before the glam team arrives. Stylists, photographers, and videographers are welcome to work here with you.
We can line up a photographer and point you to officiants and florists we've seen work well here; you book and pay them directly. Tell us what you're picturing and we'll tell you who to call.
Everyone at the 14-seat table, coffee on the deck, the trails and the river out back — married, and nobody has to go anywhere. Quiet hours start at 10pm, which suits the morning after just fine.
Pick your dates and tell us the wedding date. We pencil them in for you — no card, no payment — and email you the exact all-in price, itemized, so you can forward it to whoever is paying. A real host confirms the 48-hour hold personally. When you're ready, anyone can complete the booking from that quote.
Yes — six cars is easy, and we can fit up to 10 (might have to shuffle a bit). Vendors can pull right up to the house to load in.
Yes — up to 2 dogs allowed with a pet fee.
About 25 minutes from Pearl Street in downtown Boulder, 8 miles up Fourmile Canyon. Denver International Airport is roughly an hour and a quarter. It is a canyon road, so guests arriving after dark should plan for it; once everyone's here, nobody needs to drive again until it's over.
